World Animal Day Pet Camp

SKS Veterinary Hospital, in association with Dinamalar, is holding a one-day World Animal Day pet camp at Thillai Nagar, Trichy, on Sunday, 4 October 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Registration is limited to 30 pet parents. Dogs and cats only. Up to 4 pets on one registration. The camp includes a general health check-up, deworming, and a dental check — not medicines, lab tests, or further treatment.

SKS Heart Pawject

India’s first community campaign for pet heart screening. Vizag launched hospital-grade ECG, echocardiography, and blood pressure for dogs and cats; Hyderabad added heart and eye together. 1 in 10 dogs have heart disease — most show nothing until it is late.

Heart + Eye, in the same camp

The second city combined cardiac and ophthalmic screening — because silent disease is not only in the chest. Cardiac work-up plus FDT, STT, IOP, ocular ultrasound, and ophthalmoscopy when indicated.

Sunday, 4 October 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at SKS Veterinary Hospital, C-50, 3rd Cross Road, North East Extension, Thillai Nagar, Tiruchirappalli 620018. It is a one-day camp at this branch only.

What does the World Animal Day pet camp include? ▼

A general health check-up, deworming, and a dental and oral health check. Medicines, laboratory tests, surgery, and further treatment are not part of the camp and are charged separately.

SKS Veterinary Hospital was founded in December 2003 in Abiramapuram, Chennai, by Dr. V. Arun. It has grown into a 15-location multi-speciality network across India.

How many SKS hospitals are there? ▼

SKS operates 15 locations across Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Trichy, Coimbatore, Vizag, Trivandrum, Noida, Hosur, and Tiruppur. Fourteen are full-service hospitals. K.K. Nagar in Trichy is a grooming salon and pet store only.

Dr. V. Arun, M. V. Sc., Ph.D., is the founder, chief consultant, and dermatologist. A specialist-led team of 38 veterinarians practices across the network.

What is SKS Heart Pawject? ▼

Heart Pawject is India’s first community campaign for pet heart screening. It launched in Vizag (13–14 June 2026) and continued in Hyderabad with Heart + Eye (22–23 August 2026). Screening remains available year-round at SKS hospitals.
